H.G. Wells' Invisible Man

A beautiful woman named Madeleine helps Dr. Brady lose his passport in Paris so a colleague of hers can smuggle dope into England impersonating Brady. Brady goes to London, dons his cloak of invisibility and visits a narcotics den.
